INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CLOTHING
BODY AS CANVAS
Body-trust-centered closet curation in Seattle
A one-to-one experience exploring clothing, personal style, and what it means to feel like yourself in the body you have now.
Through a virtual style session and an in-home closet curation session, we’ll make space for comfort, creativity, grief, and the ways you want to show up.
Getting Dressed Can Bring Up So Much —
✱ Your body has changed, and your closet hasn’t caught up.
✱ You love certain pieces but rarely reach for them.
✱ Finding clothes that fit your body, budget, and sensory needs takes too much energy.
✱ You’ve absorbed other’s rules about what you’re “allowed” to wear.
✱ You want getting dressed to feel more connected to who you are.
Your Closet Holds More Than Clothes —
✱ The pieces that connect you to warm memories.
✱ The things you love that no longer fit—and the grief that can come with that.
✱ The money you’ve spent and the pressure to make something work.
✱ The colors, fabrics, and prints you’re drawn to, even if you’ve been told they aren’t “for your body.”
✱ Your own desire to have clothes be a joyful and expressive part of your life.

What Working Together Looks Like
-
We’ll talk about your relationship with clothing, what you reach for, what feels difficult, and how you want to feel when you get dressed. We’ll explore your preferences, sensory needs, and hopes for our time together.
-
Together, we’ll review and sort clothing, notice what you love, and make space for what feels complicated.
Trying things on is optional. When you do, we’ll begin with how a piece feels on your body, then explore what comes up when you look in the mirror. You decide what you want to explore and where you want to pause.
-
We’ll experiment with combinations, revisit pieces you rarely wear, and notice what supports the way you want to feel.
You remain the person deciding what stays, what goes, and what needs more time.
-
We’ll return clothing in categories that make sense to you and identify pieces or practical changes that could support getting dressed.
This is a starting point for an ongoing relationship with your clothes.
-
After our session, I’ll share clothing resources and shopping recommendations informed by your preferences, size needs, and budget.
If you’d like company putting those ideas into practice, you can add a shopping trip together.
The energy of OUR WORK
Your Experience Guides Us.
Clothing is personal. It touches your body, carries your story, and can express parts of you that are still unfolding.
Here, we get curious about how you want to feel: soft, comfortable, bold, playful, grounded, expressive—or something that doesn’t have a name yet.
We also make space for the world you’re getting dressed in. Anti-fatness, racism, gender expectations, and unequal access shape the clothes available to us and the messages we receive about who gets to wear what.
Body as Canvas holds the truth of that experience while amplifying your agency. We can explore where a clothing rule came from, whether it serves you, and whether you want to experiment with letting it go.
Your comfort matters. Your choices matter. Your pace matters.

A Closet That Supports the Way You Want to Feel.
What a gift to open your closet and find clothes you’ve lovingly chosen to hold the body you’re in.
about virginia
Hi, I’m Virginia, The Radical Dietitian.
Body as Canvas grew from nearly a decade of supporting people in their relationships with food and bodies, alongside my own healing and recovery.
I’ve always loved clothing and personal style, especially thrifted and vintage pieces. In my recovery from orthorexia, I made a commitment to keep clothing a joyful, expressive part of my life.
As my body healed and grew, access changed. I began seeking out companies that made room for bodies like mine—and bodies larger than mine. That experience continues to shape how I explore clothing, inclusivity, and the practical realities of getting dressed.
Today, in my recovered, fatter body, I feel more satisfied and connected to my closet than ever. I want to offer space for you to discover what a meaningful relationship with clothing might look like in your own life.
My work is guided by the belief that all bodies are worthy, valuable, and beautiful. Body as Canvas brings that belief into the everyday experience of opening your closet.
And yes, I’m a huge introvert who works from home. Much of the time, I’m dressing for myself and my cats. That counts, too.
