The Body as a Container

A Support Group for Providers Wanting to Feel More Alive in Their Work

you deserve support, too

You Are Not Meant to Hold All of This Alone

You hold so much.

The stories of your clients.
The weight of systems that cause harm.
The grief, the complexity, the moments of profound change.

And you deserve support, too.

This is a space to come back to yourself—to your body—as a source of wisdom and care.

Who This Group Is For —

This group is for providers who are:

✱ Working in eating disorders, body liberation, trauma, or relational care

✱ Holding complex, emotionally layered client work

✱ Feeling the impact of burnout, moral injury, or system fatigue

✱ Wanting to feel more connected—to themselves, their work, and their bodies

✱ Longing for community with others who understand the depth of this work

What This Group Is About —

This group is part embodiment practice, part clinical consultation, and part collective exploration.

Together, we will explore:

✱ What your body is holding in your work

✱ How to listen to what’s beneath urgency and overwhelm

✱ What it means to respond to yourself with curiosity instead of pressure

✱ How to tend to your nervous system while continuing to care for others

This is a place where we, as providers, can come home to our bodies in supportive ways.

What You Can Expect

This group offers a container to:

  • Be witnessed in your grief, complexity, and humanity

  • Explore embodiment as a resource in your clinical work

  • Reflect on boundaries, capacity, and sustainability

  • Feel supported by a community who is navigating similar experiences

  • Practice being softer, more present, and more alive in your work

We will hold space for what is possible to shift and for what needs to remain steady within the realities of your context.

This Work Is Best Done in Community

This is a container with others who are hearing the same whispers — the same calling to be a caregiver, a provider. A space to be encouraged, affirmed, and supported. A place where you no longer have to carry it all alone.

about virginia

Hi, I’m Virginia, The Radical Dietitian.

I created Body as Container because I believe that clinicians and space-holders need spaces where the full spectrum of this work can be named—the moral injury, the loneliness, the despair,
and also the light, the shifts, and the profound moments of connection.

My work as a registered dietitian is grounded in relational care, fat liberation, trauma-informed practice, and honoring agency and autonomy.

I’m also a neurodivergent human navigating my own ongoing process of healing, learning, and becoming.

This offering is shaped by my clinical work, my own lived experience, and my training with the Center for Body Trust and The Embodiment Institute.

A woman standing on a narrow forest trail surrounded by lush green foliage and tall trees, with sunlight filtering through the leaves.
A woman with glasses, smiling, sitting at a desk in a cozy room, on a video call. The desk has a computer monitor, keyboard, and various decorations. The room has wooden furniture, framed artwork, and a glass door leading outside.
